The Skoda Elite & U19 Track National Championships are the pinnacle for New Zealand’s top track cyclists.
Olympic medalists, World Championship and World Cup riders will line up against emerging and future champions to race on the boards of the new Avantidrome.
Aiming to accrue UCI points in the lead up to the Olympic Games, riders will be in peak condition for the most important international track cycling event of the year, the World Championships in Paris, just two weeks later.
Held at Cambridge’s Avantidrome, the Home of Cycling, it is the final opportunity for Kiwi riders to prove themselves and be selected into the team that will travel to compete at the World Championships.
This event showcases the tremendous talent New Zealand has. It offers spectators an abundance of live sporting action across four days of intense competition within a world-class facility. Each day includes two sessions; day and evening.
The Age Group & U19 Omnium Track National Championships includes five days of intense racing for the top track cyclists in age group categories U15, U17, U19 and Masters grades, men & women with riders in each category tightly contesting their respective age group titles.
